Craft Workshops in March and April

Valerie Gardner, our new Craft Coordinator, has set up four workshops to prepare crafts for the Children’s Festival.

No special skills required. Valerie will provide all the materials and easy-to-follow instructions. If you can operate a pair of scissors or tie a square knot, you are qualified!  Come join the fun!

When:  March 12, March 19, and April 16

Time:    2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Where: LDS Church, 615 Hollow Way, Nevada City

The Children’s Festival would not be possible without the hundreds of volunteers who generously donate their time and talent every year to bring this magical event to life.

The night before the Festival volunteers help to hang banners, move picnic tables, set up hay bales, and turn Pioneer Park into a Renaissance wonderland. On the day of the Festival volunteers help with the craft tables, face painting, refreshments, and a myriad of other activities. On the Saturday morning after the Festival volunteers help to return Pioneer Park to its previous pristine condition.
